This small freestanding sculpture was created when Christy cut open a stone, found on the shores of Lake Erie, and uncovered beautiful striations. Instead of following her original plan to make pendants with the stone, she created a freestanding sculpture that mimics references an evergreen tree. This piece is an example of how the stone will sometimes dictate the pieces Christy makes.
