Fused Reclaimed Glass Bowls - Saturday, February 19th or Monday, February 21 or , 12:30 to 4:30 pm
Brighten up your home with a one-of-a-kind recycled glass bowl. Using recycled window glass, you will learn to snip, cut and assemble glass to create your own piece of functional art. The class will delve into how to assemble a piece and the process involved in creating a fused glass bowl. All materials are provided. The bowl will be roughly 9 x 2.5 inches and depending on your design this class will be 3 to 4 hours. Your pieces will need to be fired after completion and will be available for pickup or delivery a few days after the workshop.
This class takes place in Christy's studio in Douro-Dummer. It is recommended that you wear "paint clothes and shoes" since mold making is a messy process. You may also want to wear boots and bring footwear to change into once you are in the studio.
Please bring your own safety glasses.
