Burleigh Falls is one of Christy's favourite spots in the Kawarthas. The Falls run through exposed granite that marks the beginning of the Canadian Shield and are home to Lock 28 of the Trent Severn Waterway. By laminating concrete, glass to granite that was gathered while swimming Christy pays homage to the falls. Through the juxtaposition of the natural with the industrial it captures the beauty of the world in which we exist.
